My Story
Many of the better parts of the past decade as a K-12 math educator have involved responding lovingly to the call, "Ms. Corn!" from students throughout the course of a school day. After a decade of service in and around the classroom, I have been inspired to elevate the mantra, "work smarter-not harder" in order to accelerate my life's mission; uplifting women and children of color.
Founded in 2019, Black Labs is a dynamic think tank aimed at the implementation and application of practical solutions. Our service is to solve problems. Our focus is broad, recognizing that many challenges are intersectional in nature. We aim to tackle the obstacles that disproportionally disenfranchise marginalized and vulnerable populations, the obstacles that undermine truth, equity, and justice. We pursue our mission firmly planted in an unshakable faith to glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is and will be entrusted to us. Explore our leading projects and developments throughout this site, and if you feel called - I would love for you to get involved.
